ToggleGOA INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL MART
Planning a trip to Goa is like a yearly affair for us but so far in 2019, we hadn’t got a chance to visit our favorite beach destination. But when we got invited to attend the Goa International Travel Mart, we lapped up the opportunity for some sun and sand!
Goa has always been about beaches, beach shacks and sea food for us but this time we looked at exploring more places is Goa that represent its Portuguese heritage, architecture and looked at off beat things to do here. The last time we were here was for our 1st wedding anniversary and had spend a memorable time at Alila Diwa, Goa.

The Goa International travel mart is focused on face to face interactions between the tour operators, hoteliers, local brands, international and domestic media and travel agents from all over the world. The event was flagged of by the Honorable Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant and facilitated by other dignitaries from the state ministry and tourism department.
The exciting event was carried out in Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor stadium, a facility located in the campus of Goa University at Taleigao. Networking at Goa International Travel Mart
One of the main highlights of the travel mart was the networking opportunity it presented for all attendees. The event boasted of over 100 national and international buyers along with several top media houses from all over the world. Along with this were local hospitality brands present in Goa, tour operators, travel agents and domestic & foreign travel bloggers. In the hospitality space some of the brands we got to interact with were Deltin Casinos, Big Banyan Wines, and Blive who operate electric bike tours in Goa. And along with them, we had the opportunity to spend time with some lovely travel bloggers.
Fun events at Goa International Travel Mart
Although Goa International Travel Mart is a formal event, it does have a fun element attached to it that focuses on attendees enjoying the vibrant culture of Goa. During the 3 days, we were taken around Goa, experienced the delectable cuisine and got plenty of time to do some fun photo ops with other bloggers as well!
Apart from being hosted at the gorgeous Le Meridian Calangute, we got to experience live gaming off shore on the Deltin Royale, had the inauguration ceremony and dinner at the Park Regis, and lunch at the Bambolim Beach Resort.
We’d like to call out Caroline from Voyager’s World, who helped put our trip together. Everything was superbly managed and we really had an engaging, fruitful and fun time during the Goa International Travel Mart.
