Watch a fountain show
Dubai Mall is a destination in itself and the fountain show is not to be missed out! Every half hour, every day, there is a fountain show accompanied by music, laser show and local performances in front of the mall and just below the Burj Khalifa. And the best way to catch the fountain is either from the high tea venue on the 122nd floor or if you want a more grounded view then you can book a table at the II Restorante at Armani Hotel. The tables on the terrace offer an amazing view of the perfectly synchronized fountains that dazzle in the lasers. It is said that this is one of the best fountain shows outside of the one that takes place in Caesar’s Palace, USA.
And if you still want to make the experience even more exclusive, hire an Abra (local boat). These traditional wooden boats cruise by the Dubai Mall and you can witness the magical fountain show from the comfort of your boat. The fountain shoots water to a height of about 900 feet, which is equivalent to 45 stories and 50 projectors brilliantly color the fountain with astounding light effects.
